Client Context And Challenges
EnergyCo embarked on a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation to rollout state of the art SAP software while in parallel harmonizing its system landscape and also end-to-end processes with a group wide standardised SAP template
Various M&A and restructuring activities in past decades required EnergyCo to re-think its SAP system landscape and prepare the entire group for a move towards cloud-computing
After successful template creation for their next-gen ERP system, this standardised template had to be rolled out to several hundred both national and international units and regions, affecting >40.000 SAP users
Our Approach
Setup of industrialized rollout approach to deliver SAP Commercial Core (FI/CO/Procurement) template processes to multiple units through upscaling of existing methodologies and tools
Roadmap strategy definition and creation of rollout clusters based on complexity with regards to risk mitigation
Design and installation of a factory- approach within SAP program by leveraging best-practice approaches
Execute (functional- & technical-)topic deep-dives for client support to ensure timeline and program success
Impact We Achieved
Creation of harmonized and standardized group-wide SAP ERP template in only 1 year, incl. first pilot rollouts
>50 legal units in rollout scope per year with peak of ~150
>90% of SAP standard adherence throughout template rollout
